Written and styled as (Stronger with each Tear) Mary J. Blige has re-created herself in her 9th studio album. Scheduled to have been released in November 24, 2009 but being watchful of Alicia Keyes album “The Element of Freedom” the release dates is scheduled for December 21 on Bilge’s own imprint Matriarch.
In an interview with rap-Up magazine Blige was stated, the album represents who and what I am right now. I’m a stronger human being after all the growing pains. It’s about Life, Love, change, strength – most of all knowing who you are and being confident in that.
With writer credits from the likes of Ryan Leslie, dark child and Johnta Austin and several features from Canadian rapper DRAKE the Queen of R&B should be back on the charts and all over you radio.

Ghost Ball 09 The Ultimate Halloween party had a place were the freaks came out at night and were ready to have a great time! With special acts like HairForce performing all the great rock renditions, including the best prize of all went out to what we all in a way wish never existed the wonderful Camera radar thats located all across the Valley. Axis Radius was so deep that the lines just leaked on to the streets including Suede, you definitely had options all it took was some time and patience to get in due to the overwhelming crowds that came to enjoy the event! This time around seemed more in sync compared to last year and very much smooth for everyone to enjoy. During all these festivities we managed to snap a couple of amazing shots for the evening during what seemed to be a quiet intermission? Note to self: DJ needed at ALL times!!!!!!! Ghost Ball 09 was definitely the Ultimate Halloween Party and for those that missed it well we bring to you a taste of the evenings events and somewhat Unique costumes that had everyone in a delightful mood.

If you’re looking for a cool place to kick back and have some fun after work, you have a plethora of choices in the East Valley. If you’re here, you probably
already know about Scottsdale’s huge selection of bars and clubs. You might have even visited a few of them, resulting in some crazy nights that even you don’t believe. Does Axis/Radius, Pussy Cat Lounge, or Martini Ranch ring a bell? But what if you’re not in the mood for wild and crazy? What if you just want to kick back and have some beers in an unpretentious atmosphere? Well, believe it or not, Old Town is still the way to go. You just have to know where to look.
Some of the best bars are tucked away on the smaller streets of Scottsdale, down the road from the clubs with insanely long lines to get in. Don’t waste your night waiting in line all night. Instead, catch a ride from one of those guys on a bicycle always hanging out around Old Town, and head on over to Stetson Drive to discover the concept of understated cool. Drinx Scottsdale is located on the corner with a large, obvious sign that appeals to everyone, drunk or not. As the name of the bar indicates, there are plenty of drinks available, along with cool seating and affordable daily specials. Check out the DJ every Friday night. If you enjoy midweek drinking and getting drunk cheaply, visit Drinx on Wednesdays for 2-for-1 domestic beers and well drinks from 4 pm to 2 am. Its happy hour stretches from 4 pm to 9 pm Tuesday through Friday, offering half off house wine, well drinks, and domestic beers. Drinx is an aptly named, chill bar perfect for drinking away your woes all week.
Another fun bar that is more relaxed than most in Scottsdale is Coach House. It is known for its long history as a Scottsdale bar, its fun and tacky Christmas decorations every year, and its amazingly cheap drinks. Coach House is where you go when you just want to have many drinks, interesting conversations, and lots of fun. Leave your pretentions and inhibitions at the door, and just enjoy your cheap drinks in Scottsdale for once.
If fun is your goal, the fairly new Saddle Ranch is a must-see. If you’ve ever dreamt of watching people ride a mechanical bull (or if you’ve ever wanted to give it a whirl yourself), check out Saddle Ranch. Its conveniently located on Indian School Road, and its happy hour features half off drinks and appetizers Monday through Friday from 4 to 6:30 pm. Cheap dr
inks are great, but some mechanical bull-riding definitely makes those drinks taste even better. The awesome ribs, steaks, and Wild West theme just add to this place. Its patio faces Indian School, making it the perfect place to people-watch as you sip your drink and enjoy a campfire in the middle of Old Town Scottsdale.
Not every bar in Scottsdale is ridiculously packed, pretentious, or charges a cover. Now you know where to go when you just want to have a good time after work at a down-to-earth bar, so get to it, and have fun discovering your own favorite spots to drink.
The return of the Best of the Best May 24th 2009 (Memorial Day weekend) has brought energy back to the Reggae/ Dancehall & Hip-hop world. Last years concert surpassed the promoters and the cities expectations. Special surprise guests like Akon and Busta Rhymes where lined up in anticipation to bless this 30,000 plus crowd. The Best of the Best 2008 has already promised to be more explosive with The “Don Dada” himself Super Cat, Sizzla Kalonji, and miami’s own Tarrus Riley just to name a few.
